Welcome to the inaugural Voter Guide of the Life Liberty Property PAC, the conscience of the politics in the State of Idaho. Our fundamental conviction is that God created man in His image. As image-bearers, we recognize that the right to life, liberty, and property are fundamental and God-given. This is the same fundamental conviction behind the Declaration Of Independence, from which this PAC derives its name.
In the following paragraphs we will outline our biblical approach to endorsements and provide insights into our three categories of endorsements, recommendations, and anti-endorsements.
Endorsements:
Our endorsements are reserved for candidates who meet two essential criteria: alignment with conservative principles and demonstrable character. When we endorse a candidate, it is a whole-hearted endorsement of not only their policy promises but also their personal integrity. Thorough vetting of individuals who present themselves as conservatives is crucial before receiving our endorsement. By endorsing proven conservatives, we aim to promote those who we believe are the true leaders of Idaho politics. We seek to also minimize the risk of disappointment and ensure that our endorsements carry genuine weight and trust. Our endorsements are the gold standard.
Recommendations:
While endorsements are reserved for proven conservatives, our recommendations extend to candidates who present themselves as conservatives but may lack a track record. We acknowledge that unproven conservatives can emerge as strong advocates for biblical principles. Therefore, we offer recommendations to such candidates, encouraging voters to consider their campaign promises. However, we exercise caution in recommendations, recognizing the importance of candidates substantiating their conservative values through their words and actions.
Anti-Endorsements:
The anti-endorsement list serves as a crucial tool to expose candidates who engage in deceptive practices, half-truths, and character assassination. We believe that such ungodly tendencies in politics should not be tolerated. It is our responsibility to provide Idahoans with a source that warns them of unreliable and ungodly individuals seeking public office. By identifying those who spread falsehoods, we strive to protect the integrity of the political process and ensure that voters make informed choices. The anti-endorsement may also be based on policy shortcomings.
Biblical Foundation:
Our PAC’s approach is deeply rooted in biblical principles. Romans 13 underscores the purpose of government as discerning between good and evil, emphasizing the importance of maintaining clear morality. We are committed to defending biblical sexuality, making the adoption of children by homosexuals and deviants illegal. We also seek to protect the sanctity of life and institution of the family, as highlighted in Genesis 1-2, 1 Corinthians 7, and Ephesians 5-6, which upholds marriage as between one man and one woman. We are unapologetically pro-life and pro-family. Additionally, we advocate for the restoration of common law marriage in Idaho, aligning with natural law as instituted by God.
Regarding prisons, we support biblical reforms that include harsher penalties, execution and exile, for certain categories of crimes, like drugs and violence, while safeguarding against the exploitation of government by private corporations who house prisoners for profit.
We advocate for competition in education, recognizing that the primary responsibility for teaching remains with the family and the church, as outlined in Scripture. Homeschooling is the norm, private schooling with biblical content is an important church function. Insofar as public schools and libraries exist, they must be as moral and God-honoring as possible. Never can secular standards and employees prevail in schools and school children remain safe. If public schools can’t be mandated to be good and not evil, then they must not exist.
Taxation and Government Size:
We approach taxation with caution, recognizing it as an important aspect of government. We believe that government budgets should align with the proper role of constitutional government, reducing unnecessary spending and waste. We advocate for tax compliance to be as voluntary as possible and consider a consumption tax as a more equitable approach. Above all we deeply believe that taxation is theft of the private property of the people.
We advocate for tax compliance to be as voluntary as possible. A consumption tax, in our view, is the most equitable approach as it allows individuals to avoid taxes based on their consumption patterns.
Joining in Our Mission:
We strive to remind public officials of their duties before God and man, upholding truth and righteousness in the political sphere. By exposing darkness and promoting the light, we aim to hold public officials accountable and bring about positive change. To support the Life Liberty Property PAC and our mission of promoting conservative values rooted in biblical principles, we invite you to donate. Your contributions will enable us to provide comprehensive voter guides and further our impact in Idaho politics.
